Great for airbrushingMar 03, 2011

I use this for airbrushing my scale models. Works as advertised. The only thing I wish it had is a clip system in the center of the flat stand to hold motorcycle frames etc for painting. I end up using wall poster tack to hold it on and it works great. I would suggest this for any scale modeler who uses an airbrush.

This 2 part set is something that should be on every model builders bench. They both rotate easily and are adjustable so that it will hold just about anything. The smaller unit has adjustable spring arms that fit inside almost any open car body or ships hull. The larger unit comes with 4 spring clips to hold parts plus slots for 4 more and various sized holes for other holding tools.

The description is not clear, but this is actually two complete pivoting stands. Well designed with the modeler in mind. Very happy with the purchase.

I have had mine for about 8 years, and I can't imagine building models without it. It gives you so many options to hold parts and bodies while spray painting them, and allows you to easily paint from all angles. The only problem I have had is that the top and base sometimes come apart, and I have taped them together to remove the possibility that I will drop a just-painted part. Yes, you can make something out of wood and coat-hanger wire that does the same thing, but this is just better and easier, and it will last forever.
